Windesheim offers an intensive course in Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) in level groups, from 0 up to B1 level.
After completing this basic NT2 course, the student can start his/her TaalENT2 Transition Programme for Highly-Educated Non-Dutch students in September. This 1-year Transition Programme prepares them for a regular higher-education programme (level: State Examination NT2 programme II). During the entire course students are prepared for a regular study programme in the Netherlands. However, this course is suitable only for students who went to secondary school in their country of origin and intend to study or continue their studies in the Netherlands.
NT2 Programme in brief
• A0 - A1 : 8 weeks, 3 half-day sessions per week NT2 basic course
• A1 - A2 : 12 weeks, 3 half-day sessions per week NT2
• A2 - B1 : 20 weeks, 3 half-day sessions per week NT2
When can you start?
We start in September with:
• a 0 – A1 course
• an A1 – A2 course
• an A2 – B1 course
The fee for the prior placement test is € 45 (except for beginners). The course fee is € 2,050 per 5 months.
Students from private educational institutions are eligible for a special regulation. It is possible to apply for a loan through DUO. More information on this subject can be found on the Blik op Werk website: Blikopwerk.nl.
Once the student has passed a state examination, this loan will be converted into a gift.
