Exchange programmes Windesheim, the Netherlands

Exchange Programmes

We welcome international students on our exchange programme for a semester or a full academic year. Providing international programmes for students and teaching staff is a high priority at Windesheim. We also aim to incorporate international elements into all subjects taught at the university.

Unique experience

Windesheim has close ties with universities and colleges around the world. As a student at one of our partner institutes, you can broaden your personal and academic horizons by coming to study at our university for one or two semesters. We have a wide range of stimulating and valuable exchange programmes, all of which are delivered in English. All programmes are full time and there is no distance learning option.

Fields of interest

In total, we offer around twenty-eight exchange programmes. They are grouped in six distinct fields of interest, ranging from Economics to Education and from Journalism to Technology. As an exchange student, you’ll not only benefit from our practical, student-centred approach to your chosen subject, but you’ll also get the opportunity to study elective topics, such as Dutch language and culture. All international students take a module called ‘Introduction to Windesheim University’.

Programme descriptions

Each of our exchange programmes is described on this site. Open the page devoted to a programme by selecting a field of interest from the menu on the left. That will open a submenu, where you can choose from the programmes in that field. Each programme’s webpage explains what you’ll study and what background you should ideally have.
